I am interested in people and their surrounding environment. Sometimes both, sometimes just the latter. I document my observations and perspective through my viewfinder. When I look back at what I saw, I'm able to discover many surprises — and often, something special that exists unnoticed in our daily life.

What are people doing there? Is this nature or a human artifact? Who decided to create this thing? Why? Where are we going?

While photographs do not depict imaginary things directly, they allow our minds to wander into new, uncharted places. Of course, looking at daily life in a consistently unexpected way is not always easy. But still, the effort is important. I try to stop and feel the things in front of my eyes as much as possible. Maybe these small fragments will add up to something?
